The Process
Quitting Smoking isin’t something that we do every day. We will possibly only do this once in our lifetime, on average. So, therefore, we here at Quitting Today have put together a comprehensive, yet very simple three step plan or program, that will make quitting the habit easy and very achievable.
The Process is a step by step plan that will make the exercise, achievable as we said, and more importantly, very doable. The tasks are outlined further on in this website, but first, we have one small lesson or exercise to do beforhand.
We have a series of trackers and planners available for download from this website, so that we can track and follow our progress on an hourly/daily/weekly or monthly basis.
The first of these actions is to log or write down our ‘WHY’.
It’s important that we are fully committed to this project and therefore, in doing so, we ask ourselves, why are we doing this…..
WHY is an intrinsic part of our daily lives, we could say ..why do we go for a haircut…?
Why do we change our car…we like the new BMW.
Why do we get married…? Because we love our other half…
And so on and on and on. So therefore Why are we deciding to quit.
Is it for the good of our health, is it a from a financial point of view, ie, a money saving exercise, are we doing it in order to get fitter and to live a healthier lifestyle as a result and so on. These are just a few pointers, that might give you a start on your quitting smoking journey.
